The best RAM Promasters are those that have the "RV-ready" package, they have most of the below features and often come in all the best colors. Unfortunate RAM like all the van makers are in short supply. with or without the RV-package. Required: • RAM Promaster 136 wheelbase, high roof • 2014 to present • Bucket passenger seat (not bench passenger seat) • No cargo partition (factory or aftermarket) • Slider door on passenger side / no slider door on drivers side (typical config) Strongly recommended • Park sense warning • Backup camera • Cruise control • Power mirrors (to easily switch drivers) Recommended, but not critical: • Vinyl seats • Power mirrors • Trailer hitch (for trailers, for bike racks, for extra cargo). The dealer or your local car rack Seller can do this install. The wiring is way easier before we do the Glampervan build. Nice to have: • 2500 (vs 1500) • 220 amp alternator Recommended, but unlikely to find: • Back and sliding door windows (we normally add these if not) • Swivel seats (rare to find, we'll add them if not) Other • Most Promasters are geared towards commercial use, you'll find less quantities of vans that are (a) not white and (b) equipped for camper van conversion. 1. We typically have build start openings within a few weeks. 2. Most Glampervan builds take 6–12 weeks, depending on the complexity of your design. 3. You can reserve your build slot with a $5,000 deposit, either before or after finalizing your build options. 4. Around the start of the build, a ~50% project deposit is due to begin material ordering and fabrication. 5. The sooner we receive this deposit, the sooner we can order materials and begin cabinet fabrication—often before your van even arrives at our shop. This helps minimize the time your van needs to be onsite and keeps the build moving efficiently.
